La piedra es la columna vertebral de nuestro territorio: sostiene el paisaje, persiste en el tiempo, trasciende los asentamientos humanos. La piedra es permanencia, la piedra se erosiona, se fragmenta, se transforma, se acomoda, convive. SDP I, es fruto de largas caminatas y observaciones, por el desierto de Atacama, en Chile.
En el desierto se intuyen —a veces de forma no siempre visible— las huellas del mineral y de la actividad minera, la explotación de los recursos, la soledad y el trabajo humano enfrentado al rigor del desierto salado.

SS I is the result of long walks and careful observations in the Atacama Desert in Chile.
In the desert, one can sense—sometimes in ways not always visible—the traces of minerals and mining activity, the exploitation of resources, the solitude, and human labor confronting the harshness of the salt desert.
